Тема: Мир моды.

Коммуникативная ситуация: Школьная форма: за и против.

Место в системе уроков по данной теме: 8-ой урок по теме

Оборудование урока: интерактивная доска, УМК для 9 класса

Цель: Формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся в рамках коммуникативной ситуации урока «Школьная форма: за и против»

Прогнозируемый результат урока: предполагается, что к окончанию урока учащиеся

смогут вести диалог-обмен мнениями в объеме не менее 6 реплик на каждого собеседника в рамках коммуникативной ситуации урока «Школьная форма: за и против»

Задачи (для учителя):

• способствовать формированию умения извлекать необходимую информацию из текста и стоить диалог-обмен мнениями на основе прослушанного текста;

• способствовать развитию логики и памяти у обучаемых и овладению основными способами мыслительной деятельности (сравнение, анализ, обобщение);

• способствовать формированию следующих качеств индивидуальности: ответственность, добросовестность, чувство стиля

Задачи (для обучаемых):

• применить знания, умения и навыки в знакомой (незнакомой) ситуации, опираясь на личный опыт



Ход урока

I этап – организационно - мотивационный

• Введение в коммуникативную ситуацию урока

- Good afternoon, my dear pupils! I’m glad to see you. How are you? So, we are going to start our lesson, are you ready? (слайд 1)

- Today you will learn to express your opinion and support it with arguments. It is

very important nowadays and I think it will help you in your future life and

career. But before we start, I’d like to ask you some questions.

1) What do you associate with the word uniform?

2) Who has to wear a uniform?

3) Do you have a uniform in your school? Can you describe it? (слайд 2)

II этап – операционно – познавательный

1) Активизация лексики

- First of all, I`d like you to brush your vocabulary. Look at the following list of clothing items and accessories and decide which things might not be suitable for wearing to school.

- Can you think of the reasons why an item might not be suitable?

- Are any of these things banned from your school? (слайд 3)

2) Работа с аудиотекстом.

- Look at the photos. What groups do the people belong to?
- What do they look like? (

1. A sportsman / baseball

2. A policewoman / the police

3. pilots, flight attendants / airlines

4. Girl scouts

5. doctors

- Use the help box.

- Look at the screen. Guess what countries the school students are from. (слайд 5)

- Play a guessing game. Work in pairs. Student 1- describe any photo. Student 2 – guess which photo it is and say the country. Use the help box

- We are going to listen the forum. Try to guess which question it discuss?

1. Do we need to introduce school uniform?

2. Do we need to cancel obligatory school uniform?

3. Do we need to give children more choices with school uniform?

I think you’ve got tired. Let’s relax. Sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. Imagine that you are going to school. The weather is warm and fine. A light wind is blowing. The birds are singing. You have no troubles. No serious problems. You are quiet. Your brain relaxes. There is calm in your body. Nothing diverts your attention. You are relaxing. (Pause) You are dressed in a new school uniform. It’s very comfortable. You are perfect. Everybody looks at you in admiration. You are happy and proud. You are sure of yourself, that you have much energy. You are in good spirits. (аудиофайл)

Open your eyes. How do you feel?

III этапорганизационнодеятельностный

- And the last point of our plans is pros and cons of school uniform.

So, group 1 will discuss the pros of school uniform, group 2 – the cons of school uniform. You will record your findings on your handout. When you are finished, you will share your ideas with the rest of the group.

Now make pairs: one student from the first group and the other student from the second group. While listening you should fill in the second half of your tables. You will use this information to make a final decision about how each of you will vote at the end of the lesson.

- So, our lesson is almost over. Have you learnt anything new, interesting?

- Are you satisfied with your work today? Your marks are…….

• Домашнее задание

- Did you like your school uniform? Was it fashionable? I hope you remember it as your hometask will be to design a uniform (for boys or girls) which you think will be perfectly suitable for school and which will make pupils look nice. So, it’s mini-projects, make drawings and prepare presentations. At class we’ll see which uniform looks more attractive.

Good things about school uniform

  • School uniform helps discipline.
  • It stops us from choosing what to wear when we get up in the morning.
  • There is no difference between students from rich and poor families.
  • Formal style is great!
  • It helps everyone to feel equal.
  • Students can concentrate on their work better (they don ’ t think how they look).
  • If we have school uniforms we ’ ll be ready to have a dress code at our future work.
Bad things about school uniform

Bad things about school uniform

  • Students can ’ t express themselves.
  • Lack of comfort (people feel more comfortable in their own clothes).
  • It takes away our freedom.
  • School uniforms are expensive and most families don ’ t have extra money to pay for it.

  • Our mood is worse because of it.
