- Good morning, boys and girls.

- I’m very happy to see you and welcome to our English lesson. My name is Regina Rashitovna and I’ll be your English teacher. How are you? Today we’re going to learn English together.I hope that it will be pleasant for you and of course for me. (слайд 1)

- But before we start the lesson I want you to warm up. Ok? Are you ready?

- The task for you is very easy, you should repeat the tongue twister after me.Ready? Let’s start.

- Now let’s do it a bit faster. Are you ready for the english lesson? Yes, perfect, let’s begin.

- Good morning, teacher.

- We are glad to see you too.

This is a boy. What is he doing?

• Yes, he is wearing a seat belt.

• You are quite right. Who can tell me the theme of our lesson? What are we going to talk about today?

• Well done! Today we’ll remember the rules of safety road, traffic signs, modal verb CAN and means of transport. Слайд 5

Смотрят картинки и отвечают на вопросы.

They are pedestrians. They walk straight across the road.

We see zebra crossing, traffic lights and traffic signs.

- Look at the screen, please. There are some pictures. Tell me please, what can you see in our town? Слайд 6

• Thank you. Tell me, please, do you like to travel?

• There are different means of transport. Let’s remember them. Слайд 7

• Now let’s write the answer to the question “How people can travel?” Come to the blackboard, please. Слайд 8

• Thank you.

- Good job. Before doing the next task, let’s remember model verb “CAN”. What does it mean?

How do we pronounce the negative form?

Repeat after me:

CAN, CAN’T, I CAN, I CAN’T

-Look at the blackboard, please. While outside we often meet different traffic signs, which permit or prohibit us from doing smth. Here are some traffic signs. But what a pity! The signs are mixed up. Will you help me to put the signs on the right place?

• You can`t turn right.

• You can turn right.

• You can drive at 25 mph.

• You can go straight.

• You can`t go here

• You can`t park here.

- You learn the words on the topic “Road safety”. Now let’s check up your knowledge. Look at the blackboard, please, you should draw a line to match the words and make word combinations. Then translate them, please.

- Thank you, well done. Now open your books at p. 34 and find Ex.7. You should put the sentences in the correct order to make a dialogue. Work in pairs, please. I’ll give you 2 minutes.

- Are you ready? Let’s begin.

У доски соединяют слова и получившиеся словосочетания переводят.

Выполняют задание с учебника, расставляют фразы в правильном порядке. Работа в парах.

1-2 пары учеников зачитывают диалог.

1. Этап построения проекта коррекция выявленных затруднений.

- The next task for you is very interesting. You will work in groups. I want you to make a poster. The first group make a poster giving instruction when you ride a bike, the second when travel in a car and the third when travel on a bus. Also you should make a list what is safe and what is dangerous on the road.

Получают конверт и делают проектную работу в группах.

1. Этап реализации построенного проекта.

- It’s time to present it to the class.

Защищают свой проект.

1. Этап рефлексии учебной деятельности.

• Our lesson come to an end. Let’s make a conclusion.

• What did we do at our lesson?

• Now we know how to be safe on the road.

• Can you talk about means of transport?

• Can you talk about safety in the street?

• Do you know how to use can or can't?

On your desks you have two colours of traffic sign: red and green. If you liked our lesson, stick green. But if you disliked the lesson, stick red
