С помощью презентации ребята узнают много новых и интересных фактов о животных.

Описание разработки

Цели урока:

· Образовательная – формирование навыков использования изученной лексики и грамматики в речи на уровне представления информации о животных: тренировка произносительных и интонационных умений, тренировка грамматических навыков – 3 лицо ед. ч. н. вр. , тренировка навыков монологической речи;

· Развивающая: развитие познавательных интересов, мышления, внимания и воображения, развитие речевых способностей (умения восприятия речи на слух, способности к догадке), развитие мотивации – стимулирование интереса учащихся в изучении английского языка;

· Воспитательная: наличие краеведческого аспекта в структуре урока способствует общекультурному развитию учащихся, пробуждает познавательный интерес, является средством нравственного и патриотического воспитания.

Задачи урока :

· актуализация изученного материала по теме “Животные”;

· реализация умений использования информационно– коммуникационных технологий на уроке, формирование культурологического потенциала;

Оснащение кабинета: компьютер, картинки диких и домашних животных, картинки фермы и леса, СД плеер, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

I.  Beginning.

Warming up activities:

· What day is it today?

·  What month is it?

·  What season is it?

·  Do you like autumn and why?

·  Is it cold or warm today?

·  Have you got a pet?

·  What pet have you got?

II. Follow up

Today we shall speak about animals and some interesting facts about their life.

1. Do you know interesting facts about animals?

Предполагаемые ответы учащихся:

Mice can sing.

One cat had 13 kittens.

One cat lived 33 years.

Cats love their homes.

There are a lot of white animals: white dogs, white rabbits, white horses, white goats, white bears, white elephants, white tigers, white crocodiles.

Snakes are poisonous.

2. Музыкальная пауза: учащиеся поют песни “Baa, baa, black sheep. . ” и “Hickory, dickory, dock. . ”

3. Look at the pictures of the farm and the forest, please. Answer the questions:

T. - What is it? – P. - It is a forest.

T. What animals do live in the forest? - P. Wild.

T. What is it? P. It is a farm.

T. What animals do live on the farm? P. Domestic.

 Look once more at the pictures, please. You can also see there wild and domestic animals. The task is in the given picture connect the wild and domestic animals with the places where they live. <См. Рисунок1>.

The next task is: solve the riddles. There are 7 envelopes in which you can see the parts of 4 or 5 words – the names of the animals. Join these parts together to get the right word.

Key:

CA - MEL, DON - KEY, CROCO - DILE, TI - GER, HOR - SE, ZEB - RA, HIP - PO, ELEP - HANT, GIRAF - FE, SNA - KE.

4. Игра ”Solve the Riddles”.

Учитель: A pupil will read a story about an animal. Guess what animal it is.

Card №1.

It is an animal. It lives in the forest. It has a long thin neck and long thin legs. It is orange and brown. It eats grass. What animal is it? (A giraffe).

Card №2.

It is an animal. It lives in the jungle. It has a big mouth, a long body, short legs and a long tail. It is green.

What animal is it? (A crocodile).

Card №3.

It is a big animal. It lives in the forest. It has big ears, a long nose, a short tail. It is grey. It can be wild or domestic. What animal is it? (An elephant).

Card №4.

It lives on the farm. It has four short legs, a thick body and a short tail. It is pink. What animal is it? (Apig).

Card №5.

It is an animal. It lives in the forest. It has no ears, no legs, no arms. It has only one long tail. (A snake).

Card №6.

It is an animal. It can run and climb. It is small. It is grey. It has a long tail. It lives in a hole. It eats cheese. What animal is it? (A mouse).

5. Игра “Guess - game”. Учитель:

And now let’s play. Some of you will show an animal. You are to guess what animal it is.

Задания: не говоря ни слова, учащиеся изображают животных:

(a dog) – принюхивается как собачка;

(a rabbit) – прыгает как зайчик;

(a cat) – умывается как кошка;

(a horse) – ударяет ногой об пол, как лошадь копытом;

(a bird) – размахивает руками, как летящая птица;

(a mouse) – показывает, как мышка кушает, взяв еду в лапки;

(a frog) – прыгает как лягушка;

(a wolf) – вытягивает шею вверх, как бы собираясь выть;

Если необходимо, учащиеся могут задать вопросы и получить на них ответы: Is it a …? Yes, it is. Is it a …? No, it is not.

6. Физкультпауза.

7. T. What’s the capital of our country? P. Moscow is the capital of Russia.

Please, listen the information about the monuments to the animals situated in Moscow.

· In Moscow there is a collection of non - common monuments to different animals. Further you'll find them – informal sights, everything that surprises and catches your eye, lots of wonderful places which you'll never find in 

official guidebooks. People have built those monuments in order to express their gratitude to the animals.

· We can see the bronze monument to Layka, the dog, which became the first living creature to be sent to space,

· The monument to Karandash, who was a cheerful clown and an outstanding Muscovite and to his dog – the bronze sculpture “Karandash and Klyaksa”.

· Also there is a monument to the dog Malchik (Boy), patronized by the metro workers, who was killed in public with a kitchen knife,

· And to the ever - smiling poet and wag Hodja Nasreddin, the hero of oriental legends, leading his bronze donkey along a dusty road.

· We can see monuments to a cat, to an elk, to a bulldog, to a fox from the famous fable and even to a beaver.

Today we speak about wild and domestic animals. We know many different interesting facts about them.
