Teacher greets with pupils and introduces about foods from other country and favorite foods

Put the world map on the board. Point to Australia, Kazakhstan and China. Say the name of each country out loud.

Activity 1 refer the pupils to the pictures and ask: where is she from? She is from Australia. What is her favorite food? I like hamburger

Activity 2. ask the pupils to draw foods and drinks from their own country.



Activity 3. Dialogue: I like borek. Borek is from Turkey, My favorite food is beshbarmak, It’s from Kazakhstan.

Concept checking

Teacher asks pupils to introduce themselves to their classmates. E.g. this is baursak.(picture) I like it.

Pupil 2: It is pizza,(picture) I like it, it’s from Australia.

Formative assessment(SLIDE)

Teacher and pupils count “Well done!”, “Good” and “Try again!” cards and stickers.
